Forex News- Canadian dollar drops after poor jobs data

Canadian dollar weakened 0.4 percent against the US dollar within minutes of Canadian unemployment data.

USDCAD jumped to 1.0130 from 1.0086 after data showed that 18,600 jobs were eliminated in November despite expectations for a creation of 19,100 jobs according to Reuters.

The official unemployment rate was expected to remain unchanged from the previous 7.3 percent but increased in November to 7.4 percent.
